Start with the public character directory. Read a character’s description and choose a personality or world that interests you. You can begin with a question, introduce yourself, or suggest a scene. Each person develops their own conversations with the character; a public profile is a way to discover it, not a public transcript of your chat.

What does character memory mean?
Memory helps a character carry useful context and shared history into later conversations. That can support a continuing story or a relationship that develops over time. It does not mean perfect recall: AI can misunderstand details or produce incorrect answers. Clarify important context and correct a misunderstanding when it happens.
Personality comes before a list of abilities
A recognizable character has a point of view, a way of speaking and interests that make it distinct. On Charms, you can shape an identity and create together through conversation and supported media features.
